Josh V. is an artist based in Buffalo and St. Louis. Their freak folk colors the alternative masculinities dreamt by indie darlings (Animal Collective, Alex G, Sufjan Stevens), in the hopes that tempering psychedelia with textually informed critical distance and a vaguely Christian subjectivity might crystallize ego death and throw hell into hell.
